Your Path to
Halal Homeownership.
No surprises. No runaround. No call center. Just a clear path from your first question to your house keys.
What Happens When You
Work With Abdi?
You get one person who handles everything from your first call to closing day and beyond. Abdi (NMLS #2834772) personally guides you through every step, explains everything in English or Somali, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
We use Freddie Mac conventional loans structured the halal way, certified by AMJA scholars. The financing is real, the compliance is verified, and the process is faster than most people expect.
6 Steps From First Call to House Keys
Every step is guided. You always know what is happening and what comes next.
Free Consultation Call
Schedule a 15-minute call with Abdi. No credit pull, no obligation. You tell him your situation — budget, timeline, questions about halal financing. He tells you honestly whether you are ready or what needs to happen first. English or Somali, your choice.
Document Collection & Pre-Qualification
Gather three things: 2 years of tax returns, 2 months of pay stubs, and 2 months of bank statements. Submit them securely and Abdi reviews everything personally. Within 24 to 48 hours, you get your pre-qualification result.
House Hunting With Pre-Approval
Your pre-approval letter tells sellers you are a serious, verified buyer. Work with your realtor to find the right home. Need a realtor? Abdi can connect you with agents who understand halal financing.
Offer, Inspection & Appraisal
You choose the home and your offer price. Abdi coordinates the inspection, orders the appraisal, reviews the results, and makes sure the numbers work. You are never left guessing.
Underwriting & Freddie Mac Approval
Your file goes to underwriting for Freddie Mac approval. This typically takes 7 to 10 days. Abdi handles all communication with the underwriting team and clears conditions on your behalf.
Closing Day
Sign your documents, receive the keys, and move into your new home. Title is in your name from day one. The total cost is exactly what was disclosed upfront. After closing, Abdi is still one call away.
A Sale, Not a Loan
The financing institution purchases the property and sells it to you at a fixed, disclosed total price. There is no interest charged on a debt balance. It is a real asset-backed sale, not a loan dressed up in different language. The total price is agreed before you sign and it does not change.
- Fixed total cost known from day one
- No variable rates, no compounding
- No prepayment penalty
- Title in your name at closing

- Independent scholarly review
- Documented Sharia guidelines
- Not a conventional loan repackaged
- Structure built from the ground up for compliance

Questions Buyers Actually Ask
You will need 2 years of federal tax returns, 2 months of recent pay stubs, and 2 months of bank statements (all pages). Self-employed buyers should also have a year-to-date profit and loss statement. Abdi will review your specific situation on your consultation call and let you know if anything additional is needed.
The initial consultation call takes about 15 minutes and does not require a credit pull. Once you submit your documents, most buyers receive their pre-qualification result within 24 to 48 hours. You will know your maximum purchase price and estimated monthly payment.
Yes. Several Minnesota down payment assistance programs are compatible with our Freddie Mac conventional loan structure. Eligibility depends on your income, location, and whether you are a first-time buyer. Abdi will review which programs you qualify for during your consultation — some buyers have received up to $15,000 in assistance.
The consultation is still free and worth doing. Abdi will review what is holding your score back and give you a specific action plan. Many buyers improve their score enough to qualify within 3 to 6 months. Common fixes include paying down specific balances, disputing inaccurate items, or becoming an authorized user on a family member's account.
Yes. Home with Abdi G. serves all of Minnesota. Most buyers are in the Twin Cities metro — Brooklyn Park, Burnsville, Eden Prairie, Plymouth, Minneapolis, St. Paul — but we also serve Rochester, Mankato, St. Cloud, and every community in between. The process is handled remotely with in-person support available in the metro area.
